Minova consists of 100% carefully selected Arabica beans, harvested from organic and fair trade plantations in the Congo. The name Minova is taken from a beautiful area in north-eastern Congo, where the wealth of nature can give extra height to the coffee experience.
Coffee cultivation at high altitude and careful processing:
The coffee is grown at high altitude in the North Kivu province, in the beautiful eastern parts of the Congo. The steep mountain slopes of Virunga National Park and the shimmering Lake Edward provide the optimal conditions for the coffee berries to ripen slowly until they are ready to be harvested.
Slow Roast method – Focus on flavor and aromas:
At the roastery in Sweden, Minova is given special care. Through our Slow Roast method, we gently roast the coffee, which enhances its aromas and flavor profile. The medium roast level gives the coffee its fresh and smooth character, with a rounded aftertaste embellished by the unique notes of hazelnut.
