The groundbreaking ceremony for the new health center in Kamandi-Vuhoyo in northeastern Congo was held in early March. With each passing day since then, construction has progressed and we are getting closer to our goal.
When the new health center is completed, it will be a vital institution for many people in Kamandi-Vuhoyo.
Above all, primary care will be accessible to those who need it most. Children and adults will no longer have to travel long distances to receive important vaccinations or be treated for simple ailments, which often develop into more serious illnesses if left untreated. does not initiate care interventions early. In short, serious illnesses and mortality will be able to decrease, as it will be easier for people in the area to quickly seek care.
We are incredibly proud of the project with the health center in Kamandi-Vuhoyo – a project that has so far created eleven jobs for both men and women.
