Deep within the dense rainforests of Congo lives the okapi – a shy and majestic animal. With its uniqueness, it has become a symbol of Congo’s rich and untouched nature. Like its namesake, our medium-dark coffee is both distinctive and unforgettable.
Rutasoka coffee is gently roasted using the slow roast method. The roasting brings out the unique and subtle flavors of the carefully selected quality beans, resulting in a balanced taste and a fantastic crema.
Through your commitment and our joint work, we can together restore the pride of the coffee producers in East Africa, develop their farms and create more jobs in rural areas. Rutasoka's coffee is more than just coffee - it is the hope for a brighter future for us all.

Have you tried coffee with orange before? It's a hit. Here comes our summer favorite:
COLD BREW
60 g coarsely ground coffee, for example Okapi (if you don't have a grinder, we recommend Okapi 1 kg ground beans, which is slightly coarser ground than our 450 grams)
1 liter of water
SYRUP
90 g sugar
0.5 chili
100 ml water
PER SERVING (per drink)
5 cl freshly squeezed orange or orange juice
5 cl Cold Brew
2.5 cl Swedish tonic with the taste of orange and Chinese bark
150 ml sugar syrup
Ice
DO THIS:
1. Pour ground coffee and cold water into a jar with a lid, stir well, then place in the refrigerator for 12 hours. Strain the coffee through a coffee filter.
2. Chop the chilli and mix the ingredients for the sugar syrup in a saucepan, bring to a boil to dissolve the sugar. Allow to cool and strain off the chili.
3. Fill a glass with ice and 1.5 cl sugar syrup. Then fill the glass with 5 cl of freshly squeezed orange or orange juice, 5 cl of cold brew and finish with 2.5 cl of tonic. Stir and serve.
