The name Murakoze means ”Thank you” in Kinyarwanda, Rwanda’s national language. In Africa, this word is widely used. Gratitude to loved ones, all that Mother Earth has to offer and the kindness you encounter is always worth a smile and a Murakoze.

Have you ever tried London Fog? It is a tea drink and although the recipes may vary slightly, the basis is the same; an Earl Gray latte with vanilla.
For a cup you need
- 2 teaspoons of Earl Gray tea
- 113 ml of hot water
- 166 ml milk (optional, but try, for example, almond or coconut milk)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp honey (or sweetener of choice – mind the conversion)
Brew the tea for about 5 minutes. Boil milk with vanilla extract and sweetener. Skim the milk and pour it over the strained tea. Done!
Our organic black tea comes from small-scale producers in Rwanda, from a cooperative of 3,500 tea growers in a province in northern Rwanda. The cooperative was founded with the aim of promoting rural development and increasing the income of farmers.
We are proud to be involved in creating markets for these producers, which in the long run will contribute to increased job opportunities and reduced poverty.
