Cold brew with orange and chili

Fantastically delicious drinks that you can make both for everyday use and for celebrations.

Description

Try a refreshing summer drink, here made with cold brew at Okapi. Enjoy as a refreshing cocktail in the shade or as a delicious end to a dinner.

Ingredients

COLD BREW
1.5 dl coarsely ground coffee, for example Okapi
1 liter of water

SYRUP
100 g sugar
1/2 a chili
100 ml of water

FOR SERVING (per drink)
5 cl freshly squeezed orange or orange juice
5 cl Cold Brew
2.5 cl Swedish tonic with the taste of orange and Chinese bark
150 ml of syrup
Ice

Do this:

1. Pour ground coffee and cold water into a jar with a lid, stir well, then place in the refrigerator for 12 hours
Strain the coffee through a coffee filter. (Or use the Asobu Cold Brewer for this step, available in our shop).

2. Chop the chili and mix the ingredients for the syrup in a saucepan, bring to the boil until the sugar dissolves. Let cool and strain the chili.

3. Fill a glass with ice and 1.5 cl of sugar syrup. Then fill the glass with 5 cl of freshly squeezed orange or orange juice, 5 cl of cold brew and finish with 2.5 cl of tonic. Stir and serve.
